Patna made train to power Africa exports

In a landmark move for India’s supply chain and freight forwarding ambitions, the first freight locomotive manufactured at the Marhowra unit in Bihar will be exported to West Africa next month. Jointly developed by Wabtec Corporation and Indian Railways, this milestone highlights India's emergence in high-value engineering exports and the freight systems supply chain solutions space. The locomotives, part of Wabtec’s globally acclaimed Evolution Series, are tailored for ocean freight forwarding, built to withstand West Africa’s climate and freight needs. The initial batch will be shipped via Gujarat's Mundra Port, showcasing India's efficient freight handling process
